Report: five years of pro-Western intelligence operationsstanford internet observatory

Staying with US influence intelligence for a moment, Renee DiResta and John Perrino from the Stanford Internet Observatory bring us a fascinating story this month. The pair explore how the US has used online news media and social media to disseminate its messaging across the world. The story supports the release of a report, developed with Graphika, that explores five years of pro-Western covert intelligence operations. If, like me, you’re interested in how a target audience engages with brand content it’s worth a read.
