September sees a new acquisition in the Nordics, funding for a French start-up, and a couple of smart partnerships. Meanwhile, influencer measurement gets a push by Traakr and the launch of the Influencer Marketing Association.
August sees something of an influencer special, with acquisitions by Mavrck and Bazaarvoice, a Cision partnership and a Forrester report pointing to continued growth for influencer marketing tools. Meanwhile, iSentia reports its 2019 earnings and IPR honours Katie Paine.
July saw a hefty valuation for Kantar, Instagram remove some likes, funding for New Knowledge and reports from Plank Center and Raconteur.
Retriever continued the industry consolidation trend in the Nordics. June also saw funding news and big tech acquisitions. Meanwhile, summer has arrived in the northern hemisphere, and we have summer reading all sorted with reports from Reuters Institute, IPR and Brunswick.
May saw the AMEC Summit head to Prague, and the all-important awards ceremony. It also saw another acquisition, and the release of the very readable State of Social Intelligence report.
West Corp made its first acquisition in the measurement space in fifteen months, Zissor was sold, AirPR has been renamed, and the AMEC Summit is almost here.
Another month, another round of acquisitions. This month saw Brandwatch pick up a market research provider, Ignite buy Synoptos. Meanwhile, Meltwater picked up a recapitalisation deal and Cision put itself for sale. Finally, if you read one report this week, make sure it’s the 2019 USC Annenberg Global Communications Report.
