Media Intelligence Stories You Missed in June

Liam Kelly 29 June, 2026
I’m not usually one to make grand declarations, but I have been watching our industry for long enough to know that there is a fundamental shift taking place right now. The change is driven by the great rise of enterprise AI agents and the incredible potential of MCP connectors. This month Hootsuite, Signal AI, and Cihan Media all launched MCP connectors to support an AI future. Similarly, platforms have embraced agents, with Truescope, Agility PR Solutions, and Zignal Labs unveiling multi-agent systems. Treasure Global’s USD 15 million social listening contract and Hootsuite’s portfolio-wide rebuild as Social OS signalled how quickly enterprise buyers are willing to fund this shift. (Though it’s worth noting that not all buyers are heralding the change.)

Hootsuite unveils Wisdom

Hootsuite announced a major repositioning for the AI era, introducing Wisdom, a social-first AI agent built on more than 15 years of proprietary social data and over 150 million monitored sources. Alongside Wisdom, Hootsuite unveiled Social OS, a unified operating system that reorganises the full portfolio into purpose-built products. The publishing experience becomes Perch, Inbox becomes Nest, Amplify becomes Parliament, and Talkwalker becomes Lumen by Talkwalker, all connected by Wisdom as the AI layer. Hootsuite also launched Model Context Protocol connectors across Perch, Nest, and Lumen to extend its intelligence into external AI tools and workflows.

Sprinklr Q1 revenue rises 7% to USD 219.5 million

Sprinklr reported first quarter results for fiscal year 2027. Total revenue reached USD 219.5 million, up 7% year on year, with subscription revenue of USD 194.8 million. Remaining performance obligations stood at USD 1.04 billion, up 10%, and the company generated USD 70.4 million in net cash from operating activities and USD 65.8 million in free cash flow.

Treasure Global wins USD 15 million social listening contract

In Malaysia, Treasure Global secured a USD 15 million contract from Creative World Industries to develop and deploy an enterprise-grade Social Listening AI System. The platform, powered by large language models, machine learning, and NVIDIA-based GPU infrastructure, is designed to process millions of digital interactions and deliver real-time sentiment analysis, trend identification, behavioural insights, and automated dashboards. Treasure Global described the agreement as a milestone in its transition toward scalable enterprise AI offerings and revenue diversification beyond its ZCITY Super App.

Cihan Media launches Africa’s first agentic PR platform

Cihan Media Communications announced the global launch of AGENTPR, described as Africa’s first agentic PR and media intelligence platform, purpose-built for the linguistic, cultural, and media realities of African markets. The platform deploys four specialised AI agents operating under a proprietary methodology. AGENTPR runs structured intelligence sweeps across online news, social media, forums, Nigerian broadcast media, dark social platforms, international press, and WhatsApp echo channels. It is available as a browser-based dashboard and as an MCP connector for Claude.

Cision

Cision expands CisionOne with content deals

Cision expanded the CisionOne platform through two new content agreements during June. Bloomberg Media partnered with Cision to make Bloomberg’s premium full-text journalism available directly within CisionOne, allowing eligible Bloomberg.com Group Subscribers to view, monitor, and engage with Bloomberg coverage alongside existing media intelligence tools. Cision also signed a content licensing agreement with Le Devoir, the Montreal-based French-language publisher, broadening access to independent Quebec and Canadian journalism for CisionOne customers. The combined moves strengthened Cision’s offer for enterprise communications teams operating across financial markets and Canadian regional contexts.

Media Intelligence Product Updates

Here are some of the product announcements that caught our attention this month:

Agility PR Solutions launched the Agility Agent, an agentic media intelligence capability that turns a natural-language prompt into a stakeholder-ready executive media report. The agent orchestrates specialised sub-agents across curation, analysis, design, and delivery, removing the need for manual Boolean configuration. The launch follows the broader repositioning of parent company Innodata toward LLM and agentic AI services covered last month.   Cision launched AI Coverage Analysis, a new feature in CisionOne that surfaces key narratives across media coverage and provides tailored recommendations on next actions, helping PR teams move from reporting data to advising the business.
Signal AI launched Signal AI MCP, a connector that exposes its AI-native intelligence capabilities, including entity detection, sentiment analysis, and proprietary risk analytics, directly to AI agents and large language model applications as individual tools that agents can call, orchestrate, and combine.Muck Rack added podcast monitoring of approximately 65,000 searchable transcripts directly into its core PR platform, available at no additional cost to Standard and Premier plan customers. Users can create podcast trackers and alerts, search across English-language episode transcripts, and listen to full episodes or specific moments. Truescope launched Truescope AI, introducing Truescope Assistant, an always-on summariser of broadcast, online, print, and social coverage, and Truescope Analyst, a multi-agent media analyst that breaks questions into parallel research threads and returns source-cited reports. Zignal Labs launched Zignal AI, a new platform architecture designed to deliver structured intelligence derived from publicly available information into mission systems, APIs, partner platforms, and agent-driven workflows. Major updates to its ZEN interaction surface introduced AI Chat, Inbox, agentic reporting, multi-agent workflows, and an inauthentic messaging detection preview. Sprout Social expanded its Snapchat integration to include publishing, allowing customers to plan, schedule, and automatically publish Stories and Spotlights to Snapchat directly from the Sprout platform. The launch was unveiled at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and is available to all Sprout customers.
