The industry is seeing a wave of AI-focused launches and updates, including Ruder Finn’s new tool for monitoring brand representation in AI models, Singapore’s GovTech’s news-scraping application, and InfoVision’s media analytics platform.

June saw the media monitoring landscape continue to evolve, with the closure of long-standing provider Burrelles marking the end of traditional print clipping services in the US. Meanwhile, DRT Communications in the Caribbean is expanding its monitoring services with new funding. Meta has launched an API for Threads, opening up opportunities for third-party tool development. Several companies, including Brandwatch and Meltwater, are introducing new features and integrations, with a focus on AI-powered tools and enhanced social media capabilities.
